What are these supplies for?
We have compiled a glossary which explains what all of our supplies are used for and why you would want to have them for your birth whether you deliver at home or in the hospital.
Where do you ship?
Sweet Home ships anywhere in the world. Our shipping rates estimator will give you an estimate of the pricing and speed of delivery depending on the shipping method you choose. If you are ordering from outside Canada, the approximate delivery time does not include potential delays due to customs processing. We make the utmost effort to make sure that all orders are shipped within one business day of being received.
Do I have to open a PayPal account to purchase from you?
No. PayPal has just changed their regulations so that you can purchase from merchants without opening a PayPal account. However, they make this option hard to see when you are shopping. When you are checking out, ignore the large CONTINUE button at the bottom right of the screen. Immediately below your purchase total, it will say "If you do not currently have a PayPal account, click here." That's where you want to go. You'll be able to enter your shipping and billing details without setting up a PayPal account.
We are in the process of setting up our own shopping cart and payment processing. We hope to discontinue using PayPal as soon as possible. In the mean time, however, PayPal is a trusted source for secure payment processing and a big help to small businesses such as ours. Do you rent birth pools?
We do not sell or rent birth pools. You can get them from Birthing Buddies or from With Child. Birthing Buddies also rent birth balls and TENS units and offer prenatal classes in your home.
Can I return my birth supplies box?
Unfortunately, due to the importance of ensuring that all products are sterile and sanitary, we can not accept returns or exchanges. However, if you receive a faulty or damaged product, do not hesitate to contact us.
Remember, like babies, no two births are the same. We did a lot of research in an effort to put just the right quantities in each of our boxes. Still, you may find that you have leftover supplies. These can be used for other purposes: stick those extra underpads in your diaper bag to lay baby on during diaper changes, throw the leftover gauze and alcohol swabs in your first aid kit and save the epsom salts for the evening when dad takes babe for a walk and lets you relax in the tub with a magazine.
